I personally would find a local shop to repair the one you have. Unless you want to replace it with an aluminum or something like that. No eperience with Champion myself.

i have a champion rad, but havent had it out on the open road yet. i have it in my 66 cutlass.

quality build, made in the USA- all welded aluminum.

you might need to get an adapter to fit the bottom rad hose on if your hose is of the larger size. (not a big deal)

please PM me the link, as i've been searching for a rad for my 67 442.

I put a 4 core champion in my 69. It took a smidge of modification to the radiator brackets. Also the lower hose is a 2" off the radiator instead of a 2 1/2". I found one at a local shop that was pretty close and i cut it to fit perfect. It was off a Toyota or something..............as far as the radiator goes it cools the car very nicely! The welds look great, overall i i am happy with the purchase!
