Carburetor advice.
Carburetor advice.
I'm in the market for a quick fuel carb so when I spoke to the rep he told me I should go with PN# ss-735-vs carb. I wanted to see what advice you guys could give me. I have mild 350 olds, comp cam and roller rockers with a elederbrock performer rpm intake. It's just a street car no racing. Mixture of in town/out if town driving.
Asking what carb is best is like asking if blondes are better than brunettes. A quadrajet can do whatever you need and may be most efficient if you do much highway driving. Always liked the Qjet myself and have a lightly used Holley 80457-S available if interested that I pulled to go back to a Qjet.
This is what I'm looking at:

I will keep you in mind Dane. Thanks!!

on a mild build there is no power to be found with a aftermarket carb. A tuned quadrajet cant be beat. There part throttle responce is the better than all of them. and with the price of that carb you could get a custom built q jet for a lot less that is a match to your engine.
