Long tube back of carburetor (top - fresh air filtered inlet), short tube to choke. Although, your choke (manifold intake stove pipe tubes appear oriented opposite of mine (short vs. long). Mine is a 1971 350. None-the-less, long tube top back of carburetor short tube to choke assembly.
EDIT: Come to think of it. I may have not installed the tubes yet into my intake - I was taking a picture just to demonstrate orientation.
If you're replacing with another QuadraJet or 2GC, the one with the fitting screws onto the carburetor choke housing. The other one goes to the top rear of the carburetor air horn.
These are your choke hot air tubes. A small vacuum port in the choke housing draws air from the air horn, thru the choke heat tube in the intake where it's heated, and then across the car's choke coil. The hot air heats the choke coil causing it to open the choke flap quicker.
If you're putting other than a Rochester carb back on the engine, these tubes may or may not connect properly.
Yeah, I stuck the long SS tube into the wrong hole when taking the picture. Notice in my image back of carburetor the long tube goes into the "top" of the carburetor which is a filtered air source. That other one you see capped is a ported vacuum source. Don't insert into that inlet/outlet - you want nothing more than filtered air source which is at the top of the carburetor.
Thanks guys, this is helpful for sure. So here's my deal - I sent out my Q-jet to get rebuilt, but it's going to take forever. Borrowing an Edelbrock from a buddy of mine. It has an electric choke, so I won't need these hot air tubes, right? If so, thoughts on how to delete them?

You don't need to do anything to them. They are not connected to vacuum or exhaust.
If you can bolt the edelbrock on without disturbing the tubes leave them alone until you get your quadrajet back .If you start twisting or bending them 50 year old tubes they'll likely break off.(ask me how i know)
As has already been stated - you can simply remove them if you're employing an electric choke. To make this more clear (perhaps), they simply route warm air from the intake into the manual choke - as stated, they simply are (hand) pressed into the choke stove.
