carb spacer...

Hey guys! Im putting in a 3711 intake with a 600 cfm carb all edelbrock. I need a 1.5 in spacer to clear the egr port. I can't seem to find them anywhere. Any suggestions? Can i put two spacers together? If i put a 2" on will it clear the hood with an aftermarket air cleaner? Kinda stuck. If i can find a place that sells the spacer i need that would be awesome, but where?

Try Summit, they're all over the place. 1.5" should clear everything just fine but you might need a drop base for your air cleaner.

I have an extra 2" here if you have the space for it.

The others I had laying around were 3/4, or 7/8". Sorry bud.

If you bought the 2711 instead of the 3711 it wouldn't have the egr boss on it. your 68 shouldn't have had that problem.

Here's a link to a 1.5" spacer on summit. If you think you can get away with the 2" , just shoot me a pm.

I didnt buy the 2711 bc the 3711 saved me a couple hundred dollars. It was in good shape, so why not. Besides a spacer gives it more air, right? I went ahead and bought a 2" kit studs, spacer, and gaskets for like 20 bucks..thx guys!
