Carb for 72 350
So yeah I'm interested in this as well for a 72, I like the reviews on the quick fuel but is the 750 cfm to much for stock?

Factory QJet is a 750 cfm vacuum secondary carb.
Here's a good candidate for your '72:

Q-jet
I have a Q-jet on my 67 330, which runs fine, but if it doesn't, you can't get anyone to work on them or tune them at least around here. Mention them to a shop and you get an "o no". What would the proper cfm be for this engine? 600? 650?
Learn to work on the QJet yourself. They are not really different than any other carburetor, as in all carbs perform similar functions, just different ways of doing those operations. There's lots of information available, such as the books by Cliff Ruggles and Doug Roe. If I can learn to work on a QJet, then anyone can learn.
I’m probably old school but I would say stay with the Q-jet! Definitely don’t get the Edelbrock! If they made quick fuel that looked like a Q-jet that might get my interest!

I’m in the Qjet camp but a properly spec’d Quick Fuel would be nice too. You have an excellent contact in FL but he’s in Winter Haven which is a hike. Mark Remmel aka “cutlassefi” on this board, worth a try whether you want/need to see him in person but he will also work remotely to serve you well.

350 Carb
Sorry, I didn't make myself clear: I do not have a carb for this engine. I need to know the cfm for this motor and what may work best. Not concerned with originality. Thanks.
Again, the original QuadraJet is a 750 cfm vacuum secondary carburetor. Buy the one in the link I posted as that is a smoking good deal and is a drop-in for your engine.
You're not gonna see a significant boost in performance with an aftermarket carburetor. QJets are really good carbs.
