Calling All Roch 4GC Gurus & Everyone Else
My 64 F-85 330 A/T A/C has the 4GC carb and it appears that the idle compensator vent has been plugged with a piece of brass and staked in place.
I wonder why it was plugged? Is this something that was common? If not, I would like to drill the vent back open, but I was wondering if someone could tell me what the diameter of the vent hole should be.
The carb is 7024054, thanks.
