Block swap : 1976 to 1970

My 76 442 got to 200,093 and said enough - ate a valve and broke a rod while chewing. Fortunately I saved a 69-70 machined/balanced block, 7A heads, and all parts that I had started in 2004-05. An asphalt dump truck lost its brakes and put an end to my needing it until now (totaled 1st one now on my 2nd 442). I saved all accessory brackets and bagged/tagged hardware from the 70 block.

My question is whether the 76 block alt/PS brackets will bolt up to the older 70 block and heads. Both were AC cars with the 3 groove pulley. Thanks for any help

Yes they do. Use all the pulleys; spacers, water pump length and brackets off the 76 together.
