I am selling a 70 455 block .30 over. Available are the the separate heads, ( E ) on ebay now
Julian date codes of block is 178, will have to be cleaned up; maybe .60 at the max.


I have other Large valve E heads available with Julian dates 217 and 211, but these will require at least one new seat ea.

block price is 200.00 and core heads with big valves are 100.00 pair.

from what I hear this 70 eng block casting was also used for the w30 in 1970 in that the mold on the block is an X block mold casting with a # 3 near the distrib and the vin stamp has M2 in it. the M2 could mean any 70 455 excluding toro from Lan.

 

I can sell these items separate. the heads are large vlv heads for sure and look to be correct for the blocks, but the Julian dates with some are over 45 days diff compared to block date.

 

I have another 455 std bore block with a Julian date of 22. not sure of the exact year. but it is an F block like the rest above ; 1970- 72 . this block is tanked and honed and Can include matching Julian date E heads 349 and 22 that are ready to bolt on. 550.00

 

Do you happen to know and/are willing to sell Rochester Quad from either one. I'm looking for #7040258 on the side?
