Gotcha. Only question I have is that when I got he car, the power steering belt went around both the crank and fan pulley. The alternator belt only went around the fan pulley. The manual looks like the alternator should also go around the fan and crank pulley. If so, the alternator belt should be longer than the power steering belt. Any thoughts or photos?

I'm not sure what it supposed to look like. However, going off of the part numbers, it looks like the fan to alternator belt is significantly shorter than the power steering belt. To me, that means that it would run off the fan, not the crank. Fast forward to 1983, and the 307 is the same way.

Are there any distinguishable markings/numbers on your belts? If they are in tact, you can take them to an auto parts store and they should be able to measure them for you.
they are intact and I did get replacements. However, I just noticed that the alt. runs off of the fan and crank pulleys according to the manual. Seems strange that I can't get a part number for the double pulley alt. belt. It would seem to make sense because you can't get the belt in between the pulleys without removing the fan and pulley from the pump. It would make for terrible roadside repairs. Unless you have a secret to get the belt in between the pulleys.
