Anybody have a diagram of the accessory drive for a 307

Trying to help my grandfather get his car back on the road. He changed out the water pump about a year ago, but when he tried to reassemble the accessory drive, he couldn't figure out how it was supposed to go together. I tried to help him, but was stumped. I tried to google search a exploded diagram, but not having a whole lot of success. I think a couple spacers are missing too, but can't tell without a diagram.

What year & car ?.

If no one else can help ...

I might be able to dig something up over the next couple of days but it would be for 1980 &/or 1984.

And yet, you still didn't tell us the year and model. The accessory drives were different between the Cutlass and full size applications.

Some of the drives differed between 2 door and 4 (like the 86 Cutlass). Which is yours?

If someone doesn't do it before I get a chance ...

I'll dig up the B/C body stuff in the next couple of days.

Yeah I still need it. Sorry for not responding sooner. For some reason my email didn't show that I was getting replies.

Just went thru both the 80 & 84 manuals .....

Looks like it's @ 6 pages in each that might help.

I wrote the page numbers down - will compare both years & weed out anything that's the same.

EDIT -

Not happening by Sunday ... forgot about the holiday & other things going on.

I'll try for Tuesday.

PS -

If you click on the thread tools header just above your original post & click on the lil' arrow ... it will give you the option to subscribe to the thread & choose to receive an email when someone replies.

Yeah. I did that when I made the post. It worked for the first couple replies and then stopped for some reason. For now I just check the thread after reading my email

Finally got them done ...

Would have been a much quicker task if I had one of those scanning wand/stick gizmos vs having to do it on a flatbed.

Not sure how much more excess flexin' & bendin' the binding on these old books are gonna take.

I ended up finding (1) extra page for 1980 for a total of (7).

1984 stands at (6) pages.

That's 13 pages all total & all pages are marked with the year(s).

Not everything is B-Body specific. Whatever is ... is generally marked as such. As I eluded to before ... some stuff is redundant for 80 & 84 but instead of weeding them out - I figure I might as well just post them all at this point. I even included fan clutch & radiator stuff in there ... in case that's all still apart & an issue as well.

When you go thru enough of these it becomes obvious that double checking things wasn't always a priority.

With that in mind ... anything from 1980 that specifically fails to mention the 307 "Y" is going to be pretty much the same as the 350 "R" & the 260 "F" as well.

Onto the scans ...

Click on the "teaser" thumbnail down below.

From there you can view/save/download HUGE scans.

Let us know how things go ... hopefully these will help out some.

Thankyou for the diagram. Will definitely let everyone know how it works out. Will be awhile though. My grandfather lives about 120 miles from me and he just called and said he decided he wants to do the timing chain too.
