Adjustable roller rockers

I'm installing Mondello's adjustable roller rockers on my 68 Cutlass 350. Is there a good procedure to follow in locating the base circle of each of the cam lobes with the intake manifold still on?

As you rotate the engine (by hand or starter), looking at just one cylinder at a time, you will see the exhaust valve open then close, then the intake valve open then close. At that point you can be sure that the exhaust lifter is on its lobe's base circle. Adjust the exhaust rocker.

Then rotate a little more. When you see the exhaust valve just start to open again, you can be sure that the intake lifter is on its lobe's base circle. Adjust the intake rocker.

Repeat for each cylinder.

Thanks Brian.....I'm on a steep learning curve on this engine stuff and didn't want to screw stuff up.

When adjusting - look to see if the roller is centered on the valve - wasn't on ours, and we had to get custom length pushrods!
Also double-gasket the stock valve covers - they hit ours!
