77-80 350 build?

I have 77-80 olds 350 I know it's not one of the better ones but is it worth building? or should I find something else?

Depends on what kind of power you're looking to get. Personally I'd rather have a 76 and earlier block and I would not want to use the 3A heads.

Stay under 450hp and you'll be fine. And as stated already, toss the existing heads on the scrap pile. Go for an early head or aluminum. It'll allow you to make decent power a lot easier.
