72 distirbuotr vacum control valve 350

wondering if anyone knows where i can get a dist vaccum control valve that mounts into the intake has 3 ports and a 2 prong electrical plug on top. 72 olds 442 with 350 in it. all the ones i see only have the 3 ports no plug

That's a TCS valve.

Why do you want to install one of those?

If you're looking for one because you want to have a 100-point restoration, you'll have to find one used - post an ad in Parts Wanted.

To elaborate on Eric's post, the TCS was an early emission control that disabled vacuum advance in all gears except high. The only reason to install it is if you want a totally correct resto. The car will run better if you leave it off and simply connect the vac advance to manifold vacuum.

thks, yeah i was just putting it back to original , but think ill just leave it out.
