Can anyone verify the actual casting number for a '72 350 with HD cooling? Is it a 407586, or is it a 407536? I've seen so many bits of info in my search, I've lost several marbles....

 

407586 is the correct casting number. A factory pump can also be identified by a large 3 cast into the pump also. 6" height.

Thank you for that. What was confusing is seeing casting number 407536 being reproduced (do to it’s supposed rarity), and from all the information I’ve read, it’s easy to misread casting numbers.
Now onto the quest to find a “586”.
