Headers weren't stock and it depended upon the application. 2bbl engine in a family sedan or a 4bbl engine in a 442? Even then, the numbers really didn't mean much as they were massaged to reflect what Oldsmobile wanted to accomplish at the time. This has been discussed much better than I could do here by people like Joe. Try a search for the word "horsepower".

I have the same 72 350 set up and I believe it's around 160 hp with a 2bbl and 180 with a 4bbl. I switched to a 425 out of a 65 delta 88.

I also believe the 350 with 4bbl and dual exhaust was rated at 200 hp.

It was rated at: Too slow.
You're better off getting a 73-76 350 and using the 72' heads on it.
