Gas flow is good. Just dont get it. Had this car for 13 yrs now and this is the first yr its started acting like this. Any ideas?

No points. Replaced the distributor maybe 3 yrs back and last year replaced the clynoid. The car runs great when driving. No problems besides it dosent want to start after its been running. And that when its 30 to 40 degrees out it will act like the batterie is dead. When jumped it fires right up without hesitation.

The starter could have a bad spot in it. You replaced the solenoid, could be cheap quality. Make sure your battery is good, alternator is charging and your timing isn't too far advanced.

Battery is good. Alt is charging and the solenoid should be good, it fired right up when replaced. ill check on the starter when i get these headers and exhaust later this summer. Just wondering about the car not wanting to run when i drive it somewhere. Maybe float adjust? Not sure.

If it is not cranking, the float won't be the problem. If you have to put your foot to the floor to start it, it could be the float or well plugs.
