67 Cutlass supreme 330 rebuild

All rite guys here it is at last. Time for me to tear down and rebuild my stock 67 C/S 330 engine. 2 barrel carb, 2 speed trans. Like to start info gathering from all you guys that have done it in the past, the good and the don't do this stuff. Any info is always helpful. Thanks in advance

I just did a break in of my 67 330. It is a stock rebuild, mild cam HC pistons. Make sure it is indeed a 67 engine so you know cam angle, 67's had the 39 degree . Got my 030 pistons from edge, block bored, crank turned, big end of rods trued. New lifters and pushrods oil pump, fuel pump. Original 4bbl intake was used with a Holley spread bore 650 carb. Stock valve job with new springs and valves. It is just the basic rebuild, nothing to be wary of with the 330.

Sounds like you had great success, I want to redo the spare motor myself, pull it all apart, clean all the oil and coolant passages in the block. then start re-assembly. Any advice on the re-assembly/ putting it back together order I should follow. What items should you always replace with new parts?
Thanks guys
