67 330 exhaust manifolds

Just bought these exhaust headers and want to keep them from rusting. What products do you guys use?

Check out Bill Hirsch manifold paint. Any paint will eventually burn away but it will greatly slow the rust process. Would ceramic coating work... anybody???

Good luck!!!

I've had good results with KBS. Use the brush-on, as it has a higher temp limit. The thinner in the aerosol version lowers the operating temp of the paint, according to the company.

Performance Coatings in Jonesboro, GA was recommended to me from some of the Grand National guys for under hood heat. I had a set of long tubes for my daily driver done by them and held up just fine for 50,000 miles when I had em on the truck. Quick turnaround. Good work.

I had some Pontiac SD manifolds ceramic coated in a cast finish and they look and have held up great. I’ve never had much luck with any header or high temp paint.

I've had good luck with a product called cast blast.
