So, I have 1964 cutlass convertible. I am stuffin a 455 in it, and was thinking of selling the 330. It is pitted in two cylinders, bored .030 over. it is painted orange???? the number on the block matches the year of my car, my question is, how can I tell if it is the one that came with the car. If it is "numbers matching" to this car I may shelve it. If not then I would part out or sell it.

 

There is no way you can match the engine to the car.
