403 (433 ci)

After a few years finally getting this thing moving along. 4.375x3.6 steel 330 crank. 433 cubic inch small block ( 403 based)
Mark Remmel halo and mahle flat top pistons 1.5/1.5/3.0 ring pack
eagle 6.0” rods ( should have went 6.200” but 🤷🏼‍♂️)
Dennon Behel ( SATURN V) is doing all the machine work, Peyton Hunt CNC ported the gen 3 BB heads.
RPM intake
self modified Q jet
ARH headers
scat balancer
SFI flex plate.
Dennon will mill the cam tunnel for the thrust bearing then balance the rotating assembly
Block is square decked, bored, honed, pistons fitted,
clearances are all set.
will use a bullet hydraulic roller/solid roller lifters as I have on the 478.
will have to do some time consuming work on the intake. The biggest part is over.
this will be a pump gas bracket race/street effort to replace the 478 in my 83 as it’s going in my 66F85. Hope you enjoy the pics.
big block guys can hate all you want…it will surpass bigger inch BB numbers.
match lit and thrown….gas thrown on fire
im in my chair…

DAMMIT! I drooled all in my keyboard. Sounds & looks like a fantastic combo, looking forward to updates. I’d wish you luck but you don’t leave things up to that.

I love it when people hate on 403’s only to get soabked by one with their 455’s. And of course….the 2004R. I’m doing one now going behind a 496 Bill did.

Man you have no idea! I think my 83 is still gonna be way too fast but I can slow this one down easier than the 478 lol

Thank you. My buddy Dennon Is doing the machine work, just internally balanced it today. Peyton Hun ( performance driven design) CNC’d my gen 3 eldebrocks. It’s getting a very mild hydraulic roller/solid roller lifters. 1.6 rockers, no need for 1.7’s on this one. This combo is probably going 11.0’s-teens so I have an adjust throttle cable bracket I can move it
btw, my 478 is a 403 based sb coming out if my 83 going in my 66.
