371 oil leak

Gidday
our new addition also has an engine oil leak at the front ...is only a tad overfull ...are these engines really fussy about levels 🤔🤔🤔...once again it is not sprayed everywhere so dont think it is front seal......engine has been rebuilt , not by us though. Is there a bolt or something that opens right through to the crankcase that can leak 🤔🤔🤔
thanks Brownie

Try tightening the oil pan bolts, in the event the source of the leak is the pan gasket.

They aren't fussy being a bit overfilled. Isolate the point where its leaking to come up with a plan of attack.

What other Eric said. If mine I would get after it with a grease remover and a pressure washer. Sometimes a leak will travel quite a ways before it makes itself noticed...... Tedd
