Hello, I'm doing a top end re-build, my engine has the turkey tray intake manifold gasket, noticed most gasket kits have the other type just on the ports type gasket. Would be interested to know what is the better way to go here, is a 73, 350 rocket motor.

 

If all stock use the turkey tray gasket Felpro 96027, will fit like a glove. Use RTV around both sides of the end water ports. I also use generous beads of RTV in place of rubber end seals. I also use Aviation brush on sealant around all the other ports.
