Hey i have a 69 350 and looking to get about 375-400hp would that be alot of wear and tear????

 

I'm making appx 380 ish and I been beating the tar our of it and it's a pretty plain build.

 

Ok was just asking..heard alot about engine wear from high hp builds....Also what are somethings at i should change to achieve about 375 hp

 

Ok what are some things i can do to accomplish this build cam intake etc..

 

Everything is stock except intake ebrock 7111 and carb 1407

 

here is my complete build.

355 Olds in my 72 cutlass

10 to 1 compression speed pro flat tops
lunati voodoo cam 522/539 lift 233/241 duration @ .050 lift
Prw roller tip rocker (7) and one comp cams roller tip rocker
Pro gear timing chain
#6 heads done by rocket racing just bowl work 2.07 in. 1.63 ex.
full length headers ,x pipe
34 degrees of timing on 93 octane
edelbrock performer rpm intake
holley 3310 750 cfm carb box stock
proform hei dist

crank is .010/.010, bore is .030 over bored with a tq. plate , it was balanced

Engine built by me


backed by a th350 Built by me ebay 3000 stall converter and 3.73 gears out back

Runs 12.60's @ 105mph in the 1/4 mile
