350 aluminum intake????

350 aluminum intake????

I have taken the intake off the 350 today an found how truly heavy it is,I wanted to know if the aluminum intake off the 307 would work just just fine?or is there a intake that will still fit the stock carb ? an my plans are to get #5 heads or 7a heads done up for this engine an maybe a cam well most likely a cam an sorry for the noob question .

I have one of the 307 intakes that people like to find if interested. I can't remember the casting number.

If there is an A4 cast into it, on the passenger side of the intake by the water neck... that is the one you want. If its the A5, then its not desireable. Its more constrictive.

Its been RUMORED that the A4 and the Ebrock Performer have very similar performance properties, but I personally havn't done the research.

ah ill have to look in to that, ty for the info budd,and jensenracing77 if there a4 i might just be.
