I have a 72 supreme with a 350 and a standard 6-blade radiator fan. Can I use a 7-blade fan from a big block toro (not sure what year, but somewhere between 67-70)? It fits with no problem but the fan weighs more and I'm wondering if this will be a problem. Thoughts?

 

The weight of the fan should not be a factor.
If the Toro engine can handle it so can any other Olds V8.

Now, why would you want to do this?
Insurance, or is there a problem with cooling?
