330 Pistons High/Low compression

I am rebuilding my 330 Olds engine. It came out with a 4brl carb and high compression pistons. I am putting in a slightly higher cam than stock so the question is: Do I replace with high compression pistons and always use high octane fuel or put in low compression pistons and use regular? Will it make that much difference? It will be just a very low yearly mileage car.

Cam and compression go together, what cam are you using?
