330 parts on a 350?

Im looking at buying a 350 long block to replace my worn 330. Will the 330s intake and exhaust manifolds fit?

Hi,

I believe it all should, the only thing to check to see if the crossover lines up as not sure if Olds made different ones, but you should see when you put a gasket from one to the other

Regards,

Yes. Externally they are identical.

With a couple of exceptions noted below, every Olds small block gas engine is dimensionally the same and all external parts interchange. The only difference between the 330 and the 350 is the piston bore, and sometimes the lifter bank angle, which obviously don't have any effect on manifolds.

The exceptions are the 260 motors and the roller cam 307 motors, both of which used tiny ports. The bolt patterns are the same, and you can physically bolt any SBO manifold to either of them, but the flow disruption caused by the port mismatch will be horrendous. Again, that doesn't apply to a 330.

Keep in mind that the flex plate on your 330 will not bolt up to the 350 engine as there are different bolt patterns between the early forged crankshafts (1967-earlier) and the later cast crankshafts. Everything else should bolt up with no issues as already said.

That's why I came here. I've decided to go with a 350 long block and just wanted to make sure my 330 parts will swap over before i drop 1700+
