330 low compression cam

I'm leaning toward putting a vin 9 307 cam in my 330 deep dish piston engine. I will be running #4 heads, stock valves and springs. Don't want too much cam and this one is rather mild. Also not looking for lots of power, only reliability.
Any thoughts?

Isn't the 307 engine a roller cam with .921 lifters.
The 330 has .842 lifters.

No the 85 vin 9 engine is not a roller engine. And it uses the smaller diameter lifters. My block is a 67 330 that is a 39 deg and small lifters so any Olds cam will work as long as it isn't for a 45 deg block.
