1993 Engine Rebuild Paperwork - Part Numbers
1993 Engine Rebuild Paperwork - Part Numbers
This past year I bought a completely restored 1979 Trans Am with a 403 Oldsmobile Engine in it. The paper trail and file that the owner kept of the complete restoration showed how he spent 8 years slowly bringing my car back to life.
I am in the process of collecting parts for increase in HP - 350 heads, intake, etc..
The engine now has around 5K miles on it since 1993.
What I would like to know if what I may potentially find inside the engine once I pull the heads - preferably what pistons, bore etc was done. The paperwork is vague with rebuild heads, intake valves, bore & hone block, polish crank, etc - there is just no numbers as to what bore is, cam used, pistons, etc....
I do have one sheet dated 1993 that lists 403 engine rebuild kit - "G-377" plus 377-1, 377-2, 377-3, 377-4
Parts cost was $576.00
Any of these part numbers sound familiar? My google search came up empty..
Any help would be appreciated!
