1987 Olds 307 Timing chain and sprocket change
Good day to you all!
Can somebody tell me what is the best timing chain set i can buy for my 307 Oldsmobile from 1987 with 60.000miles (100.000kms). I am doing this because the front of the engine has to be appart for other repairs and i might as well do it now.

If it's a might as well, you can't go wrong with the general steel gear and chain. No need to go double roller and any of that rot.
NAPA stores. You can buy a timing chain set with the steel gears and new chain.
NAPA part number NTP 203006 for $26.49
Your engine won't be able to tell the difference between the original nylon tooth gear and the steel cam gear.
