1986 Cutlass Supreme 3.8L - what is this connector?

While working on my wife's 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 3.8L V6, I saw this connector hanging loose. I didn't see anything that had an "open" connector and at this point I have NO idea what it goes to. Any ideas anyone?

Connection to measure the duty cycle of the mixture control solenoid in the carburetor. A test connection, it should be blank.

This is why it pays to purchase and read the factory Chassis Service Manual. Your car uses a computer-controlled carb and distributor. The computer controls a solenoid inside the carb that pulses to adjust the air/fuel ratio to match the needs of the engine as you drive. That green test connector allows you to connect a dwellmeter (on the six cylinder setting) to monitor the duty cycle of this pulsed solenoid. You then turn the idle mixture screws to achieve the required duty cycle at idle. You cannot tune these carbs with a vacuum gauge the way you can on non-computer controlled systems. Failure to follow the factory adjustment process will guarantee that the car runs poorly.
