1986 3.8L dipstick tube - came out, how to reinstall

1986 Olds Cutlass Supreme 3.8L.V6
While changing spark plugs, the oil dipstick tube came out. Long story short, I can't remember exactly where it went but I do know it is on the driver side. Where does the tube go back into the oil pan? I'm having problems locating it.

Usually they break off, make sure it is completely intact. It looks like the port in the block is between #3 and 5 cylinder near the oil pan. It should be a slight divit in the casting where it seats.

Thank you. It didn't break off, it just sort of lifted out. I just didn't pay enough attention to remember exactly where it came from. I was fighting 3 broken spark plugs. We finally got all of them removed and replaced, but now I'm stuck trying to figure out where this dip stick tube goes. I'll take a look between #3 and #5 later today. I appreciate the support.

Here is a picture of an 86 block out of a Regal GN showing the hole where the tube goes.
