I have a 82 Delta 88 with a 307. The Timing chain went bad and right now replacing it. I put the marks on the gears closest to each other and then checked the distributor. The distributor is out of time by 2 cylinders on the cap. I can go ahead and pull the distributor and put it back. What I am concerned about is there another issue I am missing or did the distributor jump time? Would this be normal?
