1973 350 2BBL Choke Heater Tubes

Does anyone know where I can buy choke heater tubes for a 73 350 2BBL? Apparently the choke stove location changed from 72 to 73, all the parts I've found online are for 72 and before. I'm not sure but I think the Big Block 2BBL had a different choke stove location on the manifold also.

I know fabricating my own is a possibility, I'm looking into that but seems like a relatively simple part. Anyone have experience with this?

I know converting to electric choke is an option, but Id like to stick with the hot air choke if possible. It seems to be a much more elegant solution, seems how it's actually based on engine heat not just a delay after the engine is started.

You can go to the auto parts store and get a Dorman kit to repair the choke stove. Check it out!

The factory part numbers for those tubes are the same for 1970-1973. The repro houses don't list past 1972 because in the restoration world there is no market for the 73-77 cars. The 1972 tubes will fit just fine on a 73.

Sorry for the long delay in responding.

I ordered a set of choke tubes from Fusick (PN CTB69/02) listed as "Choke Tubes, pair, late 1969-72 Cutlass 2 barrel v8"

They were very different from the factory ones I pulled off the manifold. I did verify that the manifold is the correct casting for '73.

Maybe Fusick sent the wrong part or the part is inaccurate?

Also, I tried the Dorman one, I couldnt bend it to save my life. The slightest bend and it would kink and break, when I tried by hand or with a hand-held bender. Very annoying.

That's a bummer.

Hopefully you have better luck with ILT.
