aj71, thanks for sharing. If I may offer some friendly advice, your next video try to film during the day so we can see your ride, and the less camera movement the better. Tend to get a little dizzy watching the video go in circles around the car. Position the camera behind the car, a good 10 ft away. This will help prevent wind noise (from the exhaust) on the mic while recording, have a buddy rev while you record, or vise versa.

Well this was old video taken on the spur of the moment. That was 2 years ago. My wife did the best she could. Draging it back from Corpus Christi sometime next month its been stored for 10 years. The elements have taken toll on this car so it a junker right now in my head its not going to be as pretty as you alls ride.

I was 45 when I got my Cutlass. It took me that long. You're doing a lot better than I was at your age. Good luck getting the car back on the road.

This one isn't mine, but I came across these videos when searching 214/224 oldsmobile cam info. Makes a nice sounding small block that's easy on the street with some *****.

Taking a ride.

You all should enjoy the little video----Thanks BIG TIME to whoever will post it.

Olds 330 HC, with CompCams 265DEH (211/223 duration at 50), 2.25" dual exhaust, stock exhaust manifolds, and Flowmaster 40s.

This was filmed after driving for about 15 minutes, so even warmed up, it has a nice performance sound with a little lope, although the Flowmasters drone badly at 1,800 rpm (no x/cross-over pipe)

I am confused by this post. There is nothing factory fresh or bone stock about this car.

I may swap to Spintech's soon. I'm running Hooker AeroChambers now, but I plan on adding catalytic converters in the Spring. If they quiet the car down too much, I'm going to try Spintech.

Id like to share mine, being I just got new exhaust put on however, with the new exhaust my manifold gaskets are leaking ( probably stock and never been off ) I attempted the other day and twisted one bolt off. Now I’m afraid to touch it. Any suggestions for getting the manifold bolts out? Do I try my luck and then pull the heads?

Curious, why the cats? I thought they were only good for the environment in California.

Soak those babies with Deep Creep or PB Blaster. And soak them for a long time. I soaked mine, with the engine out, for two or three weeks. Then they came right out, no problems. The exhaust pipes to the manifolds was a different story. broke ALL of them.
