I’ve been looking to purchase a new or NOS 399403 KG power steering pulley, however, I’ve only been able to find used ones. Since I want a new pulley, my options are to go with one stamped K6, which both Supercars Unlimited and OPGI carry, or one stamped KC which both Fusick and Inline Tube carry. The problem I’m running into is that according to the information in the Assembly Manual it shows that the KG (399403) is for a STD. car without A/C, which is what my car is, and the KC (399405) is a three groove fan drive for an A/C car. There is no mention of a K6 pulley. Does anyone know what a K6 pulley was actually used for? And does anyone know why Fusick and Inline Tube sell an incorrect one groove KC pulley? It seems to me that all of the vendors are selling the wrong one groove pulley. Below is the chart from the Assembly Manual.
Jeff, If I were you I'd give Supercarsunlimited a phone call. Greg is very knowledgeable and should be able to tell you what the repop pulley he sells replaces/matches.
John
I have reached out to Greg and he said he hadn't looked in the original parts book before posting the application/description. He said the stamping appeared to be K6 but is in fact a KG. However, the photo on his website still shows a K6 so I am waiting for him to reply to my request for him to send me a photo showing the pulley actually is a KG stamp.
Thanks, Jeff

I can't imagine why you wouldn't want a used one. If you're that concerned about originality have it stripped an re-dipped in the same process that was originally used. Anything from the aftermarket suppliers is going to be sprayed
