1968 cutlass crankcase filter hose

Hello

I own an original California 1968 cutlass I have a 350 2 barrel with 2 speed automatic I have the original metal tube coming from the driver side that needs to attach to a crankcase filter in the air cleaner I was wondering does it need a rubber hose to attach or a grommet if it needs a hose what size thank you for your help

Cut a short length of appropriately sized heater hose to connect the metal tube to the breather filter.
