"1965 Dauntless used Rochester BC .
In my estimation it's one of the worst carburetors ever built.
1966 Dauntless used Rocchester 2G or 2GC.
In my estimation it's one of the best carburetors ever built.
Apparently the single barrel manifold tends to limit the volumetric flow on this particular engine."

There is a good chance you could use 3.8L Buick V6 231 Odd Fire manifolds up through 1976. Downside is it would be an EGR manifold. The 225 and the Odd Fire 231 were the same except for a slightly larger bore on the 231. It was .010 larger bore IIRC.
