If somebody hijacks your thread you need to use the "Report" button on their post.

I don't see any thread hijacking in this For Sale thread you started.

It's probably the "infinite scroll" feature on this site doing that....once you scroll to the bottom of a given posting this site feature starts scrolling/showing "related" threads.

I got caught on this feature more than once. I hit the "end" key on my keyboard after already viewing the post thinking it will bring me to the last post of that thread and then end up reading about something else entirely.

 

Can the infinite scroll be turned off?

 

yes

user control panel, edit options, tick this box Disable Infinite Scroll

 

Thats an option i don't have. I only use with a mobile phone and it's an android..

well he has it fixed for you anyways, but for future reference you still have these options on your android, Im looking at them now on my android phone.

I have the option to turn it off if i view the site in desktop mode, and quite a few more options besides that vs mobile mode. Either way I'm glad its off.

 

I set my phone to view the site the same as when I look at it on the laptop, view in classic next gen 3.0. It does however switch back to mobile view occasionally, I suppose when the site is updated.
