Navigating the forum

I do not know if this the correct place to post this, and I did look at FAQ section,

I am fairly new to this forum, and not good with computers or electronics, and ask your help to me navigate this forum. Is there a way to add "like" or "thanks" to a post that already exists that I like? If there is any thing else you think would be helpful to me to navigate this forum I would appreciate.

Not without physically creating a post with that wording. We don't have a like button like facebook.

and on older posts its generally frowned upon to reply because it brings old information into the forefront and generates new responses which may no longer be applicable
