Cannot open CO on laptop anymore

Cannot open CO on laptop anymore
Ive only been on the site for a few months but No longer able to even get CO site to open at home on my laptop, pc based, Int explorer, Verizon wireless MiFi, but here's whats weird. My cells connection works perfectly whether using the cell based ip or using the same MiFi . I can acces from work which has too many firewalls to begin with. Can anyone offer suggestions, I even spoke to our IT services and they couldn't get it to work. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Brett

Too weird.
I'd say clear your browser cache, and maybe use a different browser than Explorer, which is universally known to be a piece of garbage.
I assume you are able to load other sites with no problem...?

If your laptop stays connected all the time, open a command prompt and type in "ipconfig /flushdns" (without the quotes of course). Note the space between the g and slash.
Then try to open the site again, in addiotn to clearing the browser cache and deleteing temporary internet files.

I use explorer on my workstation and CO loads fine. I've gone thru all temp folders and cookies etc..And deleted them. I have zero other load issues with any other sites. But let me clarify the age will start to load it gets the "rolling Olds symbols " at the top but thats all it will load. I am on top, olds mobility, 73-77 olds( which appears very similar in page setup) and have no issues at all. But will certainly try your suggestion. Thanks Eric

I would try but don't know how to do that. FWIW I tried Eric n HRR suggestions and page sticks at same point, classic olds banner on top blank otherwise. How do u download these other site or do u buy them somewhere?

At home I found that IE6 and XP SP2 (not 3) was a bad combo for this site. I was suddenly denied from it but every other site did work. IE6 and XP service pack 3 at work did work.
I changed to firefox with adblock at home and never looked back. FF has some minor flaws but not as bad as IE.

Firefox is fine.
I don't have a strong opinion, so won't push one over any of the others.
I usually use Chrome myself these days, but Firefox and Opera are definitely good. I think Safari seemed a bit odd when too many windows were open, but I had no real complaints about it.

Do any of your Doctors say we will ever be cured of this ...affliction or is it affectation ? Mine keeps handing me another bottle of Mothers? Another Freudian slip....or Oedipus?

I stopped using Firefox over a year ago because of some weird behavior (on the part of the browser), but I don't remember what now.
I should start using it again.

The two things I dislike about FF is the inability to dump an instant shortcut on the desktop like IE could.
The other is that when opening new sessions in new windows, it often dumps new windows on top of the parent window. EI would at least cascade them. Also when a window is open, clicking on another desktop shortcut will not open it.
Minor issues, but I can do without them.
Adblock in FF works perfect for ridding google ads and most anything I do not like. Great program!
