Banned ASN

I tried logging in at work, like I do all the time, and it shows Error 1005 and said classicoldsmobile has banned the ASN my IP address is in from accessing the site. Any ideas what happened?
Edit, shows it on the Ford truck site, too. Must be something else, but I can still get on the G8 forum. Strange

Are you connecting w/ a VPN? Try a different VPN server location (e.g. country) or disconnect your VPN. This is, generally, what occurs & it generally occurs most frequently w/ a VPN. Locations throughout the globe provide VPN server connections - in particular the "free" VPN service providers. What happens is IP addresses from a known global region have been involved in suspected, mal-aligned, unscrupulous, deviant, scamming activities (e.g. malware included) such as DDOS (Distributed Denial Of Service) attacks. Select ISP (Internet Service Providers) - those guys who actually distribute & assign IP addresses, will shut down all IP addresses w/in a select range (both physically [globally] & w/in a select range of IP addresses in order to remove the unscrupulous activities of deviants. It's no fault of your own; however, as I suggested, if you have a VPN & are connecting via a VPN, try changing the global location of your VPN server or disconnect your VPN entirely when attempting to negotiate.

EDIT: I should also mention if IB has noticed increased unscrupulous activities (again, generally a VPN connection), IB themselves have the prerogative of banning site access if your IP address falls w/in a range of known deviant (wicked) demons.

That's why I almost always use my phone to browse Classic Oldsmobile and Ford Trucks Enthusiast. I suppose "the man" knows what I'm browsing since I use the Wi-Fi capability of my phone, but... 😕

Turns out it was on my end. IT had remoted in to my computer so I was going to peruse CO. Apparently the Windows update they were doing was causing issue while the update was taking place. Everything is all good now. Thanks guys for all of the suggestions.
