An afternoon at the vineyards
Spent Sunday afternoon at a local vineyard soaking up some rays and drinking fruit. 84* in the foothills so the perfect day for the vintage 88 and my wife.

Because it was anniversary weekend, the wife and I were out wine tasting as well. And I do have a 64, but we didn't take it out.
Still, right after we pulled into Suttons Bay MI and picked out a patio for lunch, this nice red jetstar 88 parked right across the street. Quite a surprise, and a nice welcome to town.

About 12 years ago i took my mother to Fall Creek Vinyard in Tow, Texas.
She was a bit of a wine connoisseur, and reckoned their products stood comparison with some of the better French and German wines.
I couldn't comment, beer being my favored alcoholic beverage.
I understand sometime in the 19th century French vinyards were devestated by some kind of blight, and imported vines back from the USA to save their industry.
Roger.
