72 Cutlass engine and Electrical slot
Hi everyone. I have a 72 Cutlass Supreme. I bought it off from someone who has restored it. Previous owner put an aftermarket radio at where it used to be the cigarette lighter. Now I don't have a place to plug in my accessories . Is there anyway i can still use my accessories? Or I have to choose between the radio and the lighter?
Also, I have a 350, but I don't know if it's a chevy 350 or a olds 350. How should I find out?
Thanks a lot

Kinda...so here's the thing: I bought the car from another guy, and he removed the cigarette lighter to put an aftermarket radio in there. Now I don't have a place to plug in my accessories such as my dash cam or phone charger. Is there anyway i get to keep the aftermarket radio and having a 12v slot at the same time?

You can buy aftermarket aux. power sockets that can be mounted anywhere.

Look at your fuse box.
You will find one connection at 12v. all the time. The top wire. batt
AND..one connection at 12v with key on, the bottom wire.ign
In the picture are two wires that have been added, this is a possible connection point that could be spliced into. IF they are full, you could go to the battery with fuse protection as already noted.
If the terminals are free, you are good to go.

Thanks guys who's helping me identifying the engine. Found the block number and it's an olds 350. However, I still need you guys help. My wipers aren't working now and one of my taillight is out. Could this just be an electric wiring issue? My taillight bulbs are all good thou. The taillight comes on when i turn the headlight on, but blinker and brake lights don't work.

Bulb is all good. I think i'm changing a whole set of taillights because those bulbs are also stuck on there very well. I couldn't get it off. Also my wipers don't work, do you know how to check if it's electrical wiring or a problem with the motor? I live in Houston and it's going to be raining a lot soon, I'd like to get it fixed.
