Hello all I am an owner of a 1970 old cutlass supreme convertible. 350 rocket, 4bbl holley 650, headers w/ dual exhaust and edlebrock intake. I have used this site to rebuilt my suspension, fix fuel gauge, fix ac, hell you name it. I just want to thank everyone on this site. I have owned my car for 1 1/2 years now and I love it.

My suggestion would be a rear gear swap. The base no-cost rear in 1970 was 2.56:1 so something in the mid 3.xx range would really make a difference.
Back in the 80s I swapped the 2.56 in my 70 Supreme for a 3.08 rear and it felt like I added a bunch of horsepower to the engine. Then I swapped the 3.08 rear for a 3.55 rear and it felt like another huge increase in power.
