Hello,
I don't believe anyone makes seat covers for Toronados. For those with less common cars, what have you done and how costly has it been? Can old factory materials still be sourced? (or similar)
Thank you.
Mikel
I'm not sure about Toronado's, but you might try Original Auto Interiors (1-586-729-2486) or (SMS Fabrics 1-503-263-3555). They are two well known companies ,that handle replacement auto upholstery. Good luck, Larry

There are reputable places that will make them, but you will drop a brick when you hear the cost. Part of the charm of the 'less than common' vintage cars.

Google them and contact. Not cheap, but they will be right.
I had the front and rear seats on my 62 F-85 wagon done at a local upholstery shop earlier this year. Since there are no pre-made covers available, I had to have them sewn from whole cloth. I chose not to wait for original material from SMS, but I could have gone that route for significant additional time and money. I also went with non-original patterns. As it is, the job cost me $1800 total, and I removed the seats from the car and brought them in. It took a few weeks.
For my '66 F-85 4-4-2, SMS did the vinyls and made new door and rear-seat panels. Both needed to have heat-pressing for the patterns and to melt together the gold and brown vinyls. Those totaled $1200...10 years ago.
Assembling the seats cost 18 Benjamin's.
So $3000 total. Less than I paid for the car, but it was worth it.
