That cover certainly does not look like any authentic oldsmobile manual that I ever saw wouldnt be surprised if it just some oldsmobile service and assembly manual stuff thrown together with some other outside engine info probably all redundant to the service and assembly manuals
chrisneu:
I have a copy of a 1971 Engine Assembly Manual; 96 pages of useful info, part numbers, big-block, small-block applications, etc. I recognize some of the pages from the '71 Assembly Manual, but the first 50 pages are not from the ASM. I downloaded this copy from the Wild About Cars website (before they started to charge a donation fee). Here is a shot of the front cover.
I would want to see at least one sample page and know how complete (missing pages) it is before purchasing. You'd think ILT could've used at least a couple of their auction pictures for this purpose.
I'd love to know if ILT, Fusicks, and anyone else who's selling hardcopies of the Engine Assembly Manuals are just copying scans they downloaded or if they got a good, clean, original to use as a master. Has anyone bought one that can tell me?
