Hi John,

Welcome, and your car looks pretty sweet. Everyone is going to ask for pictures so I might as well be the first. This a great sight and there is lots of knowledge on here.

Roger

So is it a 71 442? Hard to make anything out really in that small avatar.

It's a 71 Cutlass S, 442 clone.

It's interesting that someone who 'cloned' the car knew enough to take off the stainless rocker trim. The Cutlass S came with it as a standard identification trim item. Does your VIN start out 33687 or 34487?

More pics, from all around? 71 was the last year that the deck wing was offered on the fastback design.

He gave me the rocker trim and a whole truck load of parts with it. The first thing I looked at was the vin... 33687.

Spare drive shaft, a couple crappy looking bumpers, 14x7 SSI rims with dry rotted tires, altenator, starter, front end trim (grilles, bezels, grill surrounds) turn signals, 72 tail light lenses, wiring harness, exhaust manifolds and pipes, emblems... the trunk is just full of stuff that I didn't go through yet.
