Help with Carb ID

I have a 7042251 Carb. 0532 Date Code. Was trying to identify what cars it was installed on. Appreciate any help.

I know it is a 455 Olds carb. Looking to know exactly what cars it was installed on.

From the Olds Manual - "7042251 codes are UA, UB, US, UT \ engine codes"

What cars were those engine codes used in.

704 = 1970-1975
2 = 1972
2 = Q-Jet
5 = Oldsmobile
1 = Manual trans
(A quick online search shows it to be for a 455.)

NOOOOOOOO!

Will this odd = manual, even = automatic myth ever die?

Every single 1972 Olds full size with a 455 came with this '251 carb. Every single one of those also came with a TH400.

Every single 1972 442 with a 455 came with a 7042953 carb, including all U-code automatic cars.

Every single 1972 Olds with a 350 (both AT and MT) came with a 7042250 carb.

Thanks - That is what I was looking for.
Was the 2253 used on both Auto and 4 Speed cars?
Same with the 2251?

Did a regular 442 get the same carb as a W30?

Is there any info on the Jet and metering rod differences for the 2251 vs 2253?

Both use the same CH secondary metering rods
Both use the same 0.049 primary jets
'251 uses 50B primary metering rods, '253 uses 47B rods
'251 uses a 7036019 power piston spring, '253 uses 7037851
There are differences in the choke housing and thermostat coil, but other than different P/Ns, I can't tell you what the differences are.
