Buy a small mig welder and teach your self to weld. (I did) The engine rebuild is difficult. Sheet metal is not. It's just time consuming. You can do it. Don't give up. It's just going to take more time. Don't try to much at one time. Pick a small spot and go for it. Then the next one... these new migs are awesome.. I have a small Hobart that I run on gas for sheet metal. $1000 or less you can be set up. Tom

I live in central Fla. I don't have the space to right down every thing that's been done, i put a lot of pics on here but dont know if they are in the right place for you all to see. Thanks Mel

Post up some pictures of the rust and body damage you are concerned about and maybe we can help with panel sections and floor pans. I bought a mig 20 years ago at home depot and I'm still using it, not a high dollar unit but it works for everything I build. You can also rent one for a short length of time. I would set the panels in place then weld accordingly.

I saw the fenders and they are complete with the chrome from the pictures. I would also check out the quarters he has for sale and the other parts. Your car doesn't look that bad and should be saved. Keep in mind I'm making some of the parts that we as Starfire owners need to keep these cars on the road.
